Our new PGP app, gpgcli, is for now only a developer tool, so if you don’t already know what it is, then you won’t want to use it. We’re hard at work right now making a new PGP app that makes it easy for everyone to use. Then of course, we’ll also make a tutorial. Watch the blog, mailing list, twitter, etc for news on that.

Trying to use gpg on Nexus 7 tablet running Android 4.3. From terminal emulator, I type “gpg”, system replies “not found.” Yet when I run GNU Privacy Guard from the android app drawer, a gui to gpg comes up. Do I have to cd into a particular directory?

Please do not steer anyone to the Android market, Google Play, Amazon etc where our device IDs will be registered, along with permanently recording all our downloads, site interactions etc…

Please let us access all .apk files freely and without any worry about being spied upon, tracked or marketed to.

Hi, when I run Orbot on my Android smartphone and share internet with my Windows PC (USB connection) I can’t get access to internet by my PC browsers, apps etc. Can you send me settings to make it right?
    Thanks.

I would like to know how to use Orbot on the computer via a USB tether to a device. As far as I know, the wireless tether option works on Orot, but some of the computers I’ve used don’t have wireless network cards, and therefore cannot use this option.

Could you make a tutorial on how to host a small lightweight Tor Hidden Service on Android?
I’m talking about a few HTML5 pages that I’d like to host. No heavy PHP with database stuff.
I have set up a html server on my android, but I get error “504 Connect to [hidden_service] failed: SOCKS connection not allowed”
